As Innis and McLuhan thought, changing of civilizations are closely linked to the developments of media, which means new media leads new civilization just as that in 20th century when the significant developments of mass media such as TV witnessed a new era of human civilization.The internet, which is with the characteristics of openness, trans-regional, etc, brings into life a brand new media style, which has already changed people everyday life and social culture a lot. The "Web2.0-ize" of internet, will definitely strengthen the impact of internet.The thesis is on the impact of Web2.0 toward the society and civilization, in an angle of media theory, cultural studies, and futurology. By the data gathering, analysis and concluding of technique and history of Web2.0, this thesis points out the unique characteristics of Web2.0 differ to Web1.0:insurance of adequate information, self-organization and self-updating of information, information pool with individual persons as nodes, etc. Through these unique characteristics, this thesis concludes the influence toward civilization by Web2.0:plain social organization, reuniting of space, the overload of perception, etc. At last, this thesis predicts at the future civilization under the impact of Web2.0.
