| As an infrastructure industry, Telecom industry is always an important component of the national economy. Telecom Operation Support System(OSS), which can assist telecom carrier to monitor the different networks , including IP network , PSTN telephone network, wireless network, DDN and etc, acts as the framework and support role in the whole telecom industry. Network Fault Management System (NFMS), as an important component of OSS, mainly take responsible for the monitor and manage the fault situation of the different telecom equipment. The common telecom equipments include router, switch, mobile access equipment, optical equipment and etc, which are provided by the different equipment manufactories. The traditional telecom carriers adopt manual approach to manage the equipment fault in the network domain, and use a certain department to manage a network domain. The defects of this approach are high human cost , low efficiency , time consuming, high defect rate and etc. Now almost all the telecom carrier of different countries set their goals as low cost and high efficiency, which obviously can not be met by traditional manual approach.According to current requirement of telecom network automatic fault management, this article research the character of the network equipment fault management, analyze the function of automatic fault management, design and implement an actual network fault management system. From the angel of theory analysis, system function implementation and system test, this article implements the development of automatic network fault management.Firstly, this article introduces background of telecom network fault management, research the solution of domestic and foreign network fault management, analyze and compare the different solution. Base on these solutions, this article research a typical telecom network fault management solution, the core of this solution is to manage the telecom network based on hierarchy, and implement the automatic fault transfer through alert escalation mechanism. Also, this solution adopts automatic trouble ticket mechanism to implement automatic fault record and notification function, which ensure the automatic management of the whole network fault management. Secondly, this article discuss the technical architecture of a telecom network fault management system, and detail the software design and implementation of alert collection system, trouble ticket system and message notification system in it. In order to improve the reproduction ability, this system also adopts the software design pattern technology. Finally, this article make the function test to the implemented telecom fault management system which is based on custom simulation environment, which verified the function implementation of the telecom network fault management system. |
