This paper investigate a large number data, including economic development of Bao-ding, and the growth changes of the supplying power amount, the electricity sales amount, and the power consumption amount. Firstly, we apply the methods of investigations, research, analysis and compare, to find out the efficient data; Secondly, have improved the primitive grey prediction model GM(1,1) and got the mathematics tool of a kind of more effective electric demand of prediction; Thirdly, analyze and compare the relevant data by primitively grey model GM(1,1) or improved grey model GM(1,1, β∧) separately, and have proved to efficient to the improved grey model, and apply it to predict the power consumption amount of the every profession and the full profession of Baoding; Finally, put forward some corresponding countermeasures to the electric demand current situation of Baoding.
