Medical merchandising enterprises, as a important section of medical industry, connect two links of production and consumption, and play the indispensable role in medical circulation market. With China's joining into WTO, the construction and recombination of the domestic medical enterprises, speeding up of GSP authentication work, the competition and development of the medical retail market, the rapid development of the rural consumer market, the changing of the medicines consumption structure, the policy on a price reduction of medicines and implementation of public bidding etc., the medical merchandising enterprises of our country are changing and adjusting rapidly accordingly in their development and competition. Thus how to exist and develop persistently and healthily is the most urgent problem for domestic medical enterprises.Porter's Value Chain Theory tells us, the competitions between the enterprises is not only the competition of a certain link, but the competition of the whole value chain, as the comprehensive competitiveness of the whole value chain determines the competitiveness of enterprises. Utilizing the value chain theory to analyze one enterprise's competition advantage can make it go further to realize the source of the advantage, can also find out the difference between them compared with the rival's value chain at the same time. The enterprise's competition advantage can be steady and permanent.This text uses the value chain theory to make analysis from the aspect of business administration, studies the structure of value chain of domestic medical merchandising circulation enterprises, compares XB Pharmacy Corp.'s value chainmanagement with the counterparts in the territory, finds out the critical link of value creation (the source of profit), and analyses in depth how to guarantee the smooth implementation of these links in management and administration, gives some proposals of what can be improved and the way to get a high profit above the average level.This text is divided into 5 sections: section 1 is introduction, which mainly states the meaning and basis of the se'ected title; section 2 analyzes the current situation of the medical circulation market in our country and the medical circulation enterprises home and abroad, the primary factors which affect the development of the domestic circulation enterprises, while proposes the practical significance of using value chain management; section 3 carries out value chain analysis of the management mode of the domestic medical merchandising enterprises on the ground of description of Porter's value chain theory and the developing trend of value chain management; section 4 analyses the value chain management of Chengdu XB Pharmacy Corp., compares with other enterprises in the territory, refines out its advantage link in value chain management, and points out the weakness; section 5 offers the suggestion of improvement from the aspect of value chain management.This text bases on the combination of theory and practice, analyses every activity of enterprise through the value chain theory, compares with other enterprises in their advantages and weakness, proposed pointedly the improvement of various kinds of value activity and relations, and offers a strong operability.
