Research On Design Of Tongjitang Pharmacy Chain Distribution Models

In May1995, China Associate Pharmacy was established in Shenzhen by ChinaAssociate (Group) Co., Ltd. that opened a new mode of pharmaceutical retail chain operationin China. A series of policies implemented by our government do promoted the cross-regionalexpansion of pharmaceutical retail chain operation mode in our country, such as cancel thelimitation on the cross-provincial chain pharmacies,"Prescription and non-prescriptioncategory management approach" to implement and the new medical reform and so on. Chainoperation mode deeply welcomed by the marker and enterprises due to standardizedmanagement, specialized division of labor, ease of replication and scale economies etc. It islogistics distribution that contributed to the uniform of scale management and consumptiondispersion retail chain enterprises. Logistics distribution is directly related to enterprisecommodity supply capacity, operating costs, the satisfaction of consumer and other aspects.Meanwhile, more and more enterprises take logistics as an important part of its its corecompetitiveness. While, logistics distribution for pharmaceutical retail chain enterprise has amore important influence.Drug is directly related to people health and life safety. Drug has the characteristics ofquality stringency, time limited, specificity and other characteristics, which lead to itsdistribution takes on professional,high standard and high security.Owing to a great variety,sudden and diversity of illness, differences in patient physique, drug distribution performanceas multiple and small batches. In order to better ensure the quality and safety of medicines inthe process of the whole distribution operation, our government issued a series of norm sandregulations, such as,“the pharmaceutical logistics service specification”“the interimprovisions of pharmaceutical trading service examination and approval on Internet”“circularon strengthening the Internet sales of medicine management”, etc., to reduce the influence ofof distribution operation for drug quality and to lower the harm that may occur in the processof distribution of some special medicine.In this paper, the research object is Tongjitang chain pharmacy logistics distribution mode,which is based on chain management, logistics and other related theoretical analysis. This paper analyzes the internal and external environment for the development of Tongjitang chainpharmacies and its the strategy of logistics. Based on a detail analysis of different distributionmodel and considering various influence factors, the paper have designed fitting Tongjitangchain pharmacy development model of logistics distribution, through the matrix and analytichierarchy process (ahp). Expect both in theory and reality, the paper can provide some supportand reference value for pharmaceutical chain industry on the selection and decision-making oflogistics distribution mode.
