The clothing market is full of competition in this age. The competition is outspreaded in the all areas including design, materials, technique, quality, price, service, culture, storefront, customer administration, advertisement and etc. It has been realized that the brand name of the garment is becoming one of the tools of competition. The brand name should be international and multimode. For the garment brand name of our country, it is very important to become world famous brand name. How to construct and development the brand name has become the most important questions to be answered by all the garment enterprises of our country. The research on the construction of the garment brand name is significant in both areas of the theory and application. On the basis of theories of brand name and enterprise competition, the analysis methods of quantitative and demonstration are used in this research. The situation and existing problems of brand construction in garment area were analyzed. The methods of brand name construction was put forward under the results of this research work The measures to make the Chinese brand names of the garment to be accepted by all of the world can be expressed as to refine the ideas and cultures of the brand name, to create powerful system of the brand name administration, to establish the individual affinity of the brand name, to extend the brand name strategy, to set the strategy according to the life cycles of brand name, introduce the traditional Chinese culture into brand name.
