The salary management is the core content of enterprises' human resource management. Reasonable and valid salary system can not only validate to stir up the initiative and activity of employees, promote employees to work hard to realize enterprises' targets, and increase enterprise's performance, but also can attract and reserve an employee team with good qualities and competition abilities under the knowledge-based economy where the competition is increasingly fierce. Now, the state-owned enterprises face such problems as the unreasonable construction of salary system, incompletely work analyze and post appraisal, and incompletely performance appraisal. This test aims at analyzing these problems and attempt to start with work analyze and post appraisal, then through performance appraisal and salary investment to design a scientific theory of compensation management, so as to let the compensation management really give play to its important function in the human resource management. The contents are as follows:Chapter one introduces the background of this research and the meaning for selecting this title. Then briefly explains the salary system development course of domestic and international, and then proposed the research contents of this text on this basis.Chapter two introduces the basic theories of modern human resources development and management, introduces the theoretical foundation of compensation management: the level theory of the demand, fair theory, expecting theory and dual factors motivational theory.Chapter three explains the basic theories of management of the salary: introduced the essence, composition, classification and function of the salary; the main content of compensation management, the principle of compensation management, as well as the basic salary system, and at last set up a system for the compensation management.Chapter four analyzes the real example of state-run large-scale iron and steel enterprise. Then analyses the problems existing in the salary management of state-run large-scale iron and steel enterprise at first, propose improving the measure; Then combine the reform Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation and Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation's compensation management, and point out the improved direction.
