Research About Reform And Development Of China's Rural Credit Cooperative

The rural credit cooperative of China has developed more than 50 years, especially through the reform and opening of more than 20 years, it has already formed a financial organization with it's own characteristics, it has played a great role on supporting agricultural production, developing rural economy, service peasants. But the rural credit cooperative of China, from day of birth, was mandatory implemented under the government's lead, it has strong political complexion, which does not accord with such principle norms of cooperation as " voluntary, help and cooperation each other, democratic management ", etc from beginning. Although through many reforms, the development of the rural credit cooperative still gets into difficult, it is far from the demand trend to the cooperative finance of development of the rural economy. In August of 2003, the State Council started a new round of pilot projects of rural credit cooperative in 8 provinces (city), on the basis of the achievement of the first stage reforms, last August, the State Council arrangement 21 province (city ) rural credit cooperative reform task, with the deepening of the reform, the development of the rural credit cooperative faces some profound problems. So, researching about the reform and development of the rural credit cooperative of our country will have important theory meaning and great realistic meaning.The thesis is divided into four chapters to discuss:Chapter one: Theory and practice of cooperative finance. First, the author explains the basic theories of the cooperative finance, then analyses thecharacteristic of financial development of contemporary international rural cooperation and summarizes the mainly organization mode of international rural cooperative finance, which provides international reference for the reform of the rural credit cooperative in China.Chapter two: Production of the China's cooperative finance and development of the rural credit cooperative. The author introduces the spread of the credit cooperative thoughts and the development of the rural cooperative finance before liberation. Through reviewing the reform development course of the trials and hardships of more than 50 years of rural credit cooperative, which can find the historical reason to cause the current situation of rural credit cooperative of our country.Chapter three: The reform achievement of the rural credit cooperative of our country and the main existing difficulties. The author summarizes the achievement since the deepening of reform and analyses the main existing problems of the rural credit cooperative.Chapter four: Reform and innovation of the China's rural credit cooperative in new period. The author analyses the important role of rural credit cooperative in the present stage, provides some countermeasures to the main existing problems of the rural credit cooperative and put forward some demands on external environments of the rural credit cooperative reform.
