The brand is an important part of the enterprise culture and CIS design, the brand research is also one of the hot topics discussed by the academia in recent years. People have been unanimous in their opinions about the important status of the brand in enterprise management at present. The brand building and the brand research in China are being in line with international practices with the reform and opening-up, especially with the accession to WTO. It will be significant to summarize laws and methods of building brands with Chinese characteristics and develop modern brands in China under the guidance of scientific theories. A brand is a symbol which can be used to distinguish one commodity or one organization from another, and is also important invisible assets which can indicate culture and values of an enterprise. Brand construction is an important means to enhance the competitiveness of an enterprise , and is a certain kind of system engineering which involves brand design, brand spread, invisible assets management and a series of other problems and courses. A lot of work has been done in China in the construction of brands, but the big difference still exists, when compared with developed countries. To solve the problems, there must be a long-term and tough task for us to fulfil to improve brand systems as well as brand construction systems in China, based on the situation of reform and opening-up in our country.
