In June, 2004, on the first pan-pearl-delta region cooperation forum celebrated in Guangzhou, Hongkong and Macao, Guangdong and other 8 provinces subscribe thepan-pearl-delta frame agreement with the two special administration districts-Hongkong andMacao (pan-pearl-delta is for short "9+2"), which formally start up the course of pan-pearl-delta regional cooperation, called Chinese region harmonious development new breakthrough, per se, renewed conformity and collocation of industry at the more big scope and more width space.This research starts with the regional industrial structure theory research, analyzing the new connotation of regional industrial structure adjustment on the background of economy globalization and regional economy integration; On this basis, analyzing the whole industrial structure development state, and combining the method of clustering analytical method and economy contacting degree to classify and compare the industrial structure; in order to go much more deep into realizing the existing intrinsic problem of 9 provinces industrial structure adjustment, as well as penetrating into taking apart 9 provinces interior industrial structure, and put forward the brainchild and the advice of adjustment, so that each of province can establish the characteristic industrial system and rationally go to the dominant industry on the basis of the economic comparative advantage according their own resource, impulse production element optimization combination, to come into being pan-pearl-delta industry long chain, to make it carry out regional harmony, and become one of the best active place during our country economy development.
