Researches On The Competition Strength Of Chinese Stockjobbers

Chinese stockjobbers make great contribution to the development and prosperity for China' s securities bussiness. With the changing of market environment, the evolvement of market policies and the increasingly progressing of internationalization, the developing condition of Chinese stockjobber is not positive because of its large loss and lower competition strength. In order to change such circumstance, it is urgent to upgrade the competition strength of Chinese stockjobbersThis thesis reviews the general and relative theories of competition strength, and then put them into the analysis of the quantitative, qualitative and comparative study of Chinese stockjobbers. Firstly, the index system for the evaluation of Chinese stockjobbers is established to quantitatively evaluate the overall and individual stockjobber. Secondly, the present competition structure of Chinese stockjobbers and competition status of superior stockjobbers is demonstratively appraised. Thirdly, the disadvantages and shortages of their competition strength are comparatively analyzed with references to famous international investment banks. Finally, the thesis points out four suggestions to upgrade the competition strengthen of Chinese stockjobbers from such aspect as enhancing their real and potential competition strength, and improving development environment, etc.
