Study On The Methodology Of ERP Implementation Based On ARIS

Enterprise generally needs to optimize or reengineer the business process and the organizational structure in the course of ERP implementation, however, there is a lack of quantitative method and tool to analyze, diagnose, simulate and evaluate the business process before or after the ERP implementation, and it mainly depends on the experiences of the ERP implementation consultants. Based on the analytical comparison of the classical ERP implementation methods and processes, aiming at the existent problem in the application of ERP system in china, this thesis adhibit business process modeling based on ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) for ERP implementation and put forward the methodology of ERP implementation based on ARIS, then give a case analysis of a certain steel company ERP implementation project in the phase of business process analysis. In conclusion, the methodology of ERP implementation based on ARIS can provide quantitative specification for BPR(business process reengineering) and organization structure change in the course of ERP implementation, can supply references to ERP software venders, ERP consulting companies and enterprise implementing ERP system.
