| The large quantity of the non-performing assets (NPAs) in commercial banks has become the major risk of bank industry, and formed a potential threat to national economy development. International practice demonstrates that various resolutions contribute to diverse results. Giving an international comparison on the causes of NPAs, the resolutions and the effects in dealing with NPAs, this thesis mainly analyzes the economic and financial factors that affect the formation of NPAs, and discusses the function of the government, main related laws, the NPAs supervision and regulation system, the resolution institutions, and the principal resolutions. Then, multiple respects of China's NPAs are analyzed. Finally, on the basis of the above-mentioned study of comparison, the significance of its referential use and related policy suggestions for China are provided. |
