Applied Research For Logistic Management Of Xining Special Steel Co.Ltd

Xining Special Steel Co.Ltd (short named as XNSS) is a state owned large enterprise, which was founded in 1969. It is the biggest incorporation engaging in special steel manufacturing in the Northwest of China. It has been playing an important role in special steel production of the nation. However, along with the market economy being pushed forward steadily, the company is facing fierce competitions increasingly on the market. The original management system and mold can't coordinate itself in the competitions. Therefore, to seek a more scientific and effective management mold is the only way out for the development of XNSS.In the past two years, the steel price on the market has kept on increasing and the investment on the fixed assets has been soaring. This meant a great opportunity for the development of iron and steel industry. If XNSS could depend on technical innovations and introduction of advanced management as its two wings for development, the comprehensive level of XNSS would be improved. Under this background, the material flow management of XNSS is chosen as a target for research in this thesis. The author hopes that it will find a development road suitable and operative for logistic management.The theory and research method of modern logistic are used in this thesis to explore the existing problems in logistic management of XNSS. The method of systematic analysis and mathematical model are used to optimize and restructuring the old logistic management system. From the three aspects of loigstic management in supply, production and sale, the author puts forward the specific improving plan and operative procedures for the logistic management of XNSS. In the thesis, material flow optimizing, combined with the existing management mold is highlighted to solve the problems effectively at the enterprise, which can be easily carried out. At the last section of the thesis, the information management of logistic of XNSS has been elaborated again briefly. Some of the optimizing designs in the thesis have been applied in the logistic management of XNSS and have already achieved some positive effects.
