Nowadays, with the development of Market Economy, the market is coming to a time of diversification, and becoming more competitive. All the companies around the world are advertising a notion that to: "Focus on customers."As China has become a member of WTO, how can companies face and deal with the competition from other countries? The way to introduce Client Relationship Management System (CRM) into organizations can be a crucial step to solve this issue. CRM is a new-created management system that intends to enhance the relationship between corporations and clients, and it is involved in marketing, service, technical support and other relevant fields. CRM attracts and retains more customers by providing faster and more effective service, and it is supported by a combined operation system of foreground and background office systems, which insure clients' satisfaction which relates to firm's profit. On the other hand, CRM can reduce the cost by optimizing operational flows, and provide decision-making evidences. Further, it also can help to improve the accuracy of decision.In its study with Shanghai Welde Power Engineering Co Ltd as its background, this thesis makes a profound research on the domestic and foreign environment in Welde's course of development. This thesis is a combination of library works and the real cases. And it emphasizes on linking the theory with practice. At the meanwhile, it inspects and analyses the need of the company in view of its weakness in the marketing management. On the basis of scientific research and objective analysis, it proposes the idea of Customer Management. This will help Welde to form its core competitiveness so that it will obtain the competitive advantage quickly. As to the system design of the plan, it adapts the systematic concept so as to make the solution plan a systematic work.Through study, this thesis not only shows a CRM way for Welde to improve its self-competitiveness, but also designs a plan for its CRM system. Welde should make great effort to perfect the various factors that influence the implementation of the CRM in order to take CRM into effect as soon as possible.
