On The Development Of China's Economic Modernization

Economic modernization is the basis of a society's modernization.China's economic modernization has developed around the two pivots:industrialization and market-oriented development of economy,undergoing three phrases:the feudal phrase,the capital phrase,and the socialist phrase.In its feudal phrase, China's economic modernization focused on industrialization, sponsored by part of the ruling feudal class,who wanted to exploit the advantaged technology of the west capital world to consolidate the fuedal rule ,preventing China from developing forward. Clearing away many social obstacles to the nation's economic modernization, the bourgeois revolution in China then, pushed it into a new phrase,in which both industialization and market-oriented development achieved a lot,owing to the adoptation of the capital production mode.China's economic modernization ,whether in its feudal phrase or in its capital phrase,failed to attain its goal,because of the lack of a powerful and efficient political force which could fully controll a nation of an independent sovereignty, an integrated territory and a united people.The Communist Party of China and the socialist revolution led by it,helped the Chinese people build a brand-new society and hence brought a fairy new phrase to China's conomic modernization,with first planned economic system and then market economic system as the core system of the production mode.The socialist market economy to which we are dedicated suggests a promising future of China's economic modernization.
