The Study About The Intra-industry Trade Of Manufactured Products Between China And ASEAN

After the world war Ⅱ,the intra-industry trade has been developing quickly in industrialized countries and newly-industrialized countries(NICs). According to the research by west studies ,the intra-industry trade indexes of industrialized countries are higher than that of newly-industrialized countries ,which by the turn are higher than that of developing countries and .the higher the intra-industry level is ,the more competitive a country's commodity is , especially in the increasingly evolving international trade.The negotiation on free trade area between China and Association of SouthEast Asian Nations(ASEAN) started from 1990's ,and ran on the right way step by step with the creation of strategic cooperator relationship by the two parties in 2003.In 2004,The trade volume between the two parties got the peak of 105.58 billion US dollar , increasing by 35.30% than the of last year , which builds a solid ground for ASEAN as China's NO.5 trade cooperator.By technique improving and updating in industry structure, China's international trade commodity structure is also evolving .the percentage of crude products and the resource-intensity manufactured products have been decreasing in the trade spectrum. While the chemical and machine-electronic ones are increasing in which intra-industry level is also increasing in a high speed .The ASEAN's 10 countries are in variously different developed level, Singapore and Malaysia are newly-industrialized countries ,while Lao ,Burma and Cambodia are members of the most undeveloped countries. The creation of FTA will improve the intra-industry trade, especially the horizontal intra-industry trade, in China's manufactured industries ,which will help us get off the lower end in international trade and increase the rate of high-attached value commodities.To stimulating the intra-industry trade in manufactured division ,On the FDI policy ,the government should adjust the current policy and adopt national treatment and guide the vertical intra-industry to the way of horizontal one .On the industry policy ,lt should enlarge the scale economy by marketing means ,On corporation strategy ,we must pay more attention on the nurture of human resource and encourage invention and underline the creation of our national brands .
