The intermediary business means that the commercial bank is on the basis of the assets, debt business, Handle for customer receipts and payments, consultation, acting, etc. trust the item in the capacity of the go-between or the agent, Offer all kinds of financial service and business activities of collecting the expenses, such as commission, service charge, administration expense, etc.With the development of international economy globalization and financial liberation, the direction of business running of commercial banks varies with the change of economic financial environments. Intermediary business, which is famous for its "high interest, low risk", has been a focus of modern commercial banks' growth. After China's entering into WTO, the foreign banks will also compete with Chinese banks in this field.Therefore, it's crucial for us to acknowledge the theoretical and practical significance by analyzing the development and innovation of China's commercial banks, which is discussed within the following four aspects.First, on the basis of tracing back the history of international commercial banks, we indicate the differences between the progress of foreign banks and that of China after comparing their intermediary business. Meanwhile , the cases we adapt in this thesis help to make further prediction in this area and to prove the immense developing potential in China.Then, we use mathematical model to analyze the advantages and disadvantages between the pricing of government-control and market-directing, thus illuminate that the pricing in China is the combination of both sides mentioned above.After that, we give a general description on pricing strategy of intermediary business products. We set up a certain mathematical model and illustrate the three main pricing strategies of them.Finally, we provide specific methods in developing and creating intermediary business of commercial banks in China from the way of running system, circumstances and a sound legal framework.Analyzing and comprehensive method, qualitative and quantitative analysis approach and some other classical approaches are widely used throughout the whole discussion.
