Application Study On Management Information System (CPLMIS) Of Well Logging Limited Company, PetroChina

Management information system is a kind of information system to solveproblems involved in structurized management decision, which primarily takesquantified deterministic technical method. It is composed of personal and mechanicalequipments, such as computers, in the enterprise. It could be used for collection,transmission, storage, treatment and application of information and data of enterprise;it can provide reliable and accurate information for all-level leaders economically andduly. It can actually measure operational aspects of each department in the enterprise,collect various comprehensive and recapitulative results from intra-enterpriseinformation processing system and different formal or informal information fromexternal environment of the enterprise. First, the author puts forward the necessity, emphasis and core work of thisresearch, expatiates on the background and significance of founding managementinformation system of Well Logging Limited Company, China Petroleum andsummarizes the relative theories, such as the theory of operation flow reconstruction,the flattened organizational theory, the pyramid-structured theory of the informationsystem, the antitypical theory of developing the systems and lifecycle theory. Second, this thesis analyzes the present situations of information system inpetroleum enterprises both at home and abroad, describes the importance ofmanagement information system in the enterprise, introduces the characters traits ofWell Logging Co., Limited, China Petroleum and its special requirements for themanagement information system, establishes a management informationsystem(CPLMIS), carries through the mould design and system design, andimplements the production management system. Finally, a proposal is put forward that operation flow reconstruction and flattenedorganizational framework are accomplished by using the production managementsystem. This thesis advances some measurements to improve the organizationthrough the production management information system.
