Research Of Solutions About Building Enterprise Information Systems Based On The Corporation Lifecycle Theories

The integration of the world economy brings the globalization of theeconomic competition which requires the enterprises to have strong adaptation,greater ability of innovation and more flexible to solve new problems. Our nationalenterprises confronted unprecedented stress under this global competition,information in the corporations played a more and more importation role, asignificant resource that no companies can be lack of. Whether it is possible toutilize information efficiently became an important factor relates to the survivaland development of corporations. How to establish an information managementsystem which is able to collect, transfer, modify, store, update and maintaininformation, assistant company staff from basic servicing to higher administrationis always a focused topic of both academic and business fields. Base onsummarized construction methodologies and strategies from companies home andabroad, this article analyzed the difficulties in starting an information managementsystem at our national enterprises, brought forward that information managementsystem should be based on company's developing characteristics, research IMScombined with the corporate lifecycle. In this way it not only can help us to clarifythe reason of success or failure in establishing IMS but also help the company tomake certain what are the contents of each construction step, minimize theconstruction risk, maximize the possibility of building IMS successfully, and fullyexert the supportive function of IMS in each level of enterprise administration. This thesis started with analyzing the life characteristics of enterprises.According to corporation system attribute, the undulation of corporation's life andorganizational features of corporation's each state, service process, the operatingstrategy it adopted, etc.., this thesis made a comprehensive analyze on therelationship of internal organization, procedural feature, systematic feature,economic feature, etc. of the company development. Combined with the theories inbuilding IMS, from the result of analyzing the ideology of building IMS, theregulation of system establishing, structure of system organization, procedure ofservices and so on, started from resistance of establishing the IMS, the relationshipof building a IMS and rebuilding of an enterprise process, the confliction betweenteam object and personal object, make the precondition as the strategy of buildingthe IMS in corporate lifecycle, make the essence of research as the functions ofcharacters of lifecycle affects every process of building an IMS, talks about therisks in building IMS in each corporate lifecycle, and its solution from two separatedirections combined with theory of administration, corporate lifecycle, organizedbehavior, software engineering, information system project, economics, IMS andother related subjects. It analyzed the risks in different corporate lifecycle IMSbuilding, brought forward the corresponding strategies. It combined the theatricalparts and topic of natural science research fund together. The theoretical result hadbeen verified by a great amount of research data. This thesis had been divided intofive chapters.First chapter: a comprehensive narration of the method and strategy of buildingIMS national and abroad. It analyzed our current difficulty of building IMS inChina. By doing this, this thesis led to the conclusion that building IMS relied on aevolutional theory and a synchronized developing of enterprise system and itsinformation system.Second chapter: a comprehensive description of corporate lifecycle theory,combined with research data in deep analyzing every internal characters and thethreat of each steps and the problem of our national corporate lifecycle to clarifythe foundation of dividing our corporate life cycle to help analyze the basic needsand possible risk in every time period of enterprise life cycle.Third chapter: based on the second chapter's conclusion, the thesis broughtforward the demanding focuses on the functions and arrangements of informationsystem. As long as the it self's evolutional theory, based on the possible riskedmentioned in the second chapter, this part mainly discussed about main risks in thecorporate lifecycle. By the statistics of the surveys, this part further verified thefocused demands and constructing risks in every time period of the lifecycle.Fourth chapter: derived from last chapter's discussion about demanding focusand growing necessity of an enterprise, this part mainly talks about the majorcontents and investing direction of the enterprise IMS. This part listed somesolutions to corresponding time period in building information system.Fifth chapter: bind theory with practical manipulation, this part introduced howwe have apply the knowledge above in analyzing the case of Hafei automobilelimited corporation in the functional level of system, demand of hierarchyclassification and information system construction.All in all, based on the corporation lifecycle feature this thesis discussed aboutsolutions about building corporation information system based on the corporationlifecycle feature according to different time period in its lifecycle, contrast withcorporation development, it investigated the corporation itself and externaltechnical development. In the mean time, combined with the evolutional theory ofinformation system, it argued about how to combine the enterprise developmentand that of the information system together, work out the actualizing strategy ofbuilding information system. On one hand, it guaranteed the success rate ofbuilding the information system, on the other hand, it makes the informationsystem more sustaining, able to support the enterprise to develop in all time periods,fully exert its assistant function in all operating activities. It has the practicalinstructing purpose in constructing the corporation information system. At the sametime, this thesis brought forward the new viewing point of combined corporationlifecycle with enterprise its own information system constructing. Therefore, it notonly has significance at instructing to build corporation information system andalso helps to contribute enriching the theories about building corporationinformation system.
