Study On Transformation Of China's Processing Trade Based On The Value Chain

During the past two decades, China's processing trade has grown significantly,accounted for half of the total foreign trade of China. However, most of the processingtrade are in the manufacturing sector with low value-added ratio. Now, more and moreenterprises have realized the importance of improving the value-added ratio ofprocessing trade. This article analyzes the value chain, and put forward way forenhancement of the value-added ratio and acceleration of processing tradetransformation. The first way is enhancing the manufacturing sector in the industryvalue chain, that is, improving the enterprise's ability of R&D and creativity,optimizing the product structure and improving the export product level;the secondway is extending the industry value chain, enhancing the depth and range of processingsector;the third is optimizing the industry value chain, that is, optimizing the industrystructure and developing the high-tech industry emphatically.
