Warehouse to Warehouse Clause which clarifies the duration of insurance has been widelyused in China's marine cargo insurance practice, mainly through ICC and CIC. This paperintuitively demonstrated when the insurance attaches and when to terminate by tree-like graphs,detailed some key terms and discussed the differences between ICC and CIC theoretically. Inaddition, the three preconditions on how to claim for compensation from the insurer successfully,such as the insurable interest principle, were briefly stated. Finally, with practical cases, thispaper analyzed the actual scope of cover of W/W Clause under all groups of trade terms.
