Family business has played a very important role in our economy development and it grows up quickly in these years. What's more, it has contributed a lot to our economy with it ability and family business have its rationality to exist. When they develop quickly, however, many family business goes into trouble in management. Some of them even go bankrupted within few years. Family business's shortcoming becomes obvious more and more. When enters the 21st century, family business has to be faced up to a lot of hard competition and challenge. Many reasons now support management change. Before family business, there is a more serious question about how to succeed in change.Fortunately, I have launched and taken part in a family business management change when I work at Shanghai, In order to solid theory I have learned in the past three years during my postgraduate, together with my training experience and my working experience well, I write this essay.,In this essay I give the reasons at the beginning why I write this essay, together with the background of change in company, which is prepared for later use. I also analyze the situation of nowadays' research so as to find my position of writing. Then I offer a summary about family business, the main point I aim at are the reasons why family business exist and develop so fast. Then I choose five key problems to discuss, which is: property right, HR, capital, culture and stratagem, After we notice the weakness of family business, I analyze the challenge that family business will face up to. Between the double pressure from insides (weakness) and outsides(challenge) ,management change is doomed to happen. So the next step is solutions .but we can not succeed in management change only by theory. So I give the methods and put forward my thoughts of "5W1H5S" to the change, these methods come from the famous change authority Kotter, together with my experience in change, which will help us a lot in leading change to a real success. At last, I summarize the essay and express my expectation.
