A Study On Location And Distribution Of Large Retailers In Wuhan

As the economic system reform is developing further and economic growth has transform in its modes, accordingly, the regional environment and circumstance have changed tremendously. A modern business unit will not limit its productivity location in simply determination of address;the subject of location selection is not central government or local government but enterprises or organizations. Obviously, the study on regional economy development and retail business location has developed into a new era. This dissertation is based on a positive analysis to location selection of large retailers in Wuhan. From the historic beginning, it carries out a profound exploration to the selection issue. And the factors affecting the selection of retail business is disclosed from the relations between the location selection and its business circle. Further more, a strategy for rational and reasonable location selection is provided according to the situation in Wuhan. Thus, it enriches and completes theoretical research on location selection of the retail business.This dissertation includes 7 parts. The first part is an introduction, which provides the issue of location selection of large retail business in Wuhan, and introduces the research history and present status on it, as well as the situation of relative research at home and abroad;the second part analyze the situation of large retailers in Wuhan;the third part analyzes location selection of different retailers of different status;the fourth part take in the issue of location selection and business circle;the fifth part concretely analyzes the factors affecting the location;the sixth part provide strategy on how to make location selection rational and reasonable. The last part gives the innovative points of this dissertation and provides a conclusion.
