Productivity analysis is the main tool to seek the source of increasing and the main method to confirm increasing of quality at the same time. Since after the Second World War, the focal point of productivity research is turning from lean factor productivity to the total factor productivity in the world, standing for the beginning of studying the modern productivity problem. This paper is based on China's current economic situation, has reviewed and appraised the domestic and international current situation of the total factor productivity research, utilizes the assumption and construction of the model to analyze the cause of total factor productivity and analyzes China's economic current situation according to the result of obtaining.This paper mainly contains theoretic, positive and status-related analysis1. Theoretic PartThe part mainly includes reviewing and appraising domestic and foreign relevant study results;analyzing the measurement on the changing rate of total factor productivity and defining the relevant concepts of the acting factor of total factor productivity.2. Positive PartThis part is mainly to utilize the assumption and construction of the model, and the application of the econometrics retrogressive method to analyze the cause of total factor productivity, and estimate out every changing factor.3.
