Research On The Vietnam-China Frontier Economy

After the relationship between Vietnam and China became normal in 1991, the bilateral economy cooperation grew rapidly including the frontier section. The frontier scale is developing, export-import structure and method is optimizing. The frontier economy gradually plays important rate in the development economy of both two countries. I suppose that, the frontier economy development based on the advantageous geography, long developing history, friendly tradition, and especially, the nature of mutual economy and the high support of two governments in advanced policies. The good results for this development show firstly in stabilization boundary, promotion frontier economy and improvement the living standards. Secondly is speeding up the scale of goods circulation, opening the internal market, supporting to the enterprises and consuming goods , improving the local income, improving the development of service industry and making jobs. Finally, developing frontier economy is an additional part for all economy. Inspire of some existence issues in the 21st century, the stable relation and total operation of the two neighbors is background for this development. I realize that, if the governments wants to make another step to develop the frontier economy, they should have the policies and activities focus on strengthening macro management, ameliorating goods quality, defining orderly plans and frontier economy mechanism. I suppose that the governments should meet once per year to discuss about the disadvantage and advantage in developing, making solutions, establish operation between each provinces, suburban districts in order to develop the economy, industry, tourism of two areas. They also set up the task force who is responsibility in solving difficulties, improving services such as transportations, tourism in both frontiers. Moreover, the two countries also concentrate on establish border gates-the bridge for China –Asians freedom economy. I assure that, with the above solutions, the Vietnam -China frontier economy will have new development stage.
