The Research Of The Measurement Of The Scale Of Information Economy

The scale of Information Economy is known as the total amount of Information Economy,which is the sum of value added by information activities in social economy.Information Economy plays a role as a big part of national economy and has a deep influence and significance.Recently,with the rapid improvement of Information Economy,this kind of economy catches the attention from each level of governments.Therefore,doing Information Economy modeling and predicting rationally will be very important for government when it involves formulating macro policy and adjusting industry structures.This paper concludes the methods of calculations from scholars at present and considers them comprehensively.Following the rule that "All conclusions need to base on the scientificity",the paper first introduces a comprehensive method which combines Input-output Method and some statistical methods to measure Information Economy and measures this economy of China in 2012 and 2015 accordingly.Not only the scale of Information Economy,but also structure of social economy can be read from the Input-output Table clearly.In 2012,the total of Information Economy was 186556.7 billion Yuan and its proportion of GDP is 29.69%.In 2015,the total of Information Economy was 3421090 billion Yuan and its proportion of GDP is 41.98%.In only three years,the proportion and total of Information Economy has increased significantly,and the degree of informatization has been improved obviously.The measurement of Information Economy provides powerful data support for each level of government to make related policy.
