As an important aspect of logistics management, the reverse logistics is ignored by academia and business circles for a long time. In recent years, with the implementing gradually thoroughly of sustainable development strategy, the reverse logistics is gradually being paid attention to. Under this background, this thesis has just studied an important aspect of the reverse logistics: Inventory control of the reverse logistics.There is no unified definition about reverse logistics among academia because of the course of starting. But no matter which kind of definition, their intension is unanimous. That is: From the angles of environmental protection or resource reuse, the process of planning, implementing and controlling the efficient, cost effective flow of raw materials, in-process stock, finished products which completely or partly lose their value and relative information from the point of consumption to the point of origin.Both in the reverse logistics and the forward logistics, inventory management and control is the most important part. Under the environment of the reverse logistics, there is an additional question to solve besides the problems that the traditional stock theory should solve, which is: when to replenish from? The stock theory of the reverse logistics is very important in the manufacturing enterprise that has implemented reverse logistics strategy, especially in such trades as the automobile, consumption electronic product, etc., which have massive regurgitant products, and there are important realistic meanings in these enterprises in the research of the inventory control and management under the environment of the reverse logistics.This thesis combines the characteristic of the reverse logistics stock on the basis of traditional inventory control, have advanced some ways to solve the problem, i. e. , the inventory control and managementUnder the environment of the reverse logistics of remanufacturing and manufacturing.Chapter one of this thesis introduces the definition of the reverse logistics, points out the research value of the reverse logistics, and analyses the domestic and overseas status in quo of research in store of reverse logistics. Chapter two analyses the main difference between the reverse logistics and the forward logistics at first, and then, reviews the rudimentary knowledge of the traditional stock theory, proposes the goal held in store of the reverse logistics on this basis, analyses it and traditional difference held in store, explained the meaning of research held in store of the reverse logistics finally. Chapter three put forward two kinds of methods to solve the problem of the optimum economic order quantity under the different conditions and the condition of the stable demands. These methods base on the hypothesis that the manufacturing products and the remanufacturing Products are identical and the traditional EOQ model. Chapter four Proposes the method to solve the optimum problem that remanufacturing Products can be replaces by manufacturing products, which is based on the manufacturing products and remanufacturing products servicing different markets. Finally, we summarize this thesis and look forward to the study on future.
