With the development of science and technology, household appliances update fast. To meet the economy and environmental protection requirements of recycling, household appliances reusing and remanufacturing will not only improve the resource efficiency and green level, but also bring economic benefits to the enterprise, increasing market competitiveness. Combining with national 863 project "Reverse logistics’ key technologies research and demonstration of retired household appliances ", household appliances are taken as the object of study. According to the relationship of value between the recycled rate of treatment plant and the demand rate of used market, the appropriate PUSH and PULL inventory strategies are put forward, then corresponding reverse logistics inventory control models of a treatment plant are built. The main contents are as follows:1) At the treatment plant of household appliances, reverse logistics inventory control system with the two inventories including used inventory and finished goods inventory, three treatments including reusing, remanufacturing and disposal is established. While, the inventory control characteristics are analyzed, as well as influence factors of inventory are made clear.2) When the rate of finished goods which are obtained by remanufacturing/reusing process is less than the demand rate of used market, PUSH inventory strategy is proposed. Then, main feature parameters from every part costs are analyzed. Considering inventory costs of used inventory and finished goods inventory, remanufacturing cost, reusing cost, shortage cost, etc. remanufacturing/reusing reverse logistics inventory control model for household appliances under the PUSH strategy is built. The target of the inventory control model is the minimum of average total costs. In addition, the solutions of optimal processing cycle and minimum average total costs are conducted with a specific example. And two particular parameters of the model effecting on average total costs are discussed, the key parameter being determined by significance analysis.3) When the finished goods rate is greater than the demand rate, using PULL strategy can better plan the operation schedule of the treatment plant, because of two variables like order quantity and order cycle time. Still have the goal of minimum average total costs, remanufacturing/reusing reverse logistics inventory control model for household appliances under the PULL strategy is put forward, with parts costs. Several parameters of the model effecting on average total costs are studied with a numerical example. And the key parameter is being determined by significance analysis and ANOVA.
