A Research On The Realization Of Later-Advantages In China

This article has examined the problem of the realization of the later-advantages in china, under the condition of present economic level and policy environment, including the access to realize later-advantages, path dependences and the strategies of government.The paper resolves around the access to realize later-advantages in china, the logical structure as follow: in the chapter one, the article discusses the implication of the realization of later-advantages, its characters and the relationship among comparative-advantage, competitive-advantage and later-advantage. Furthermore, in the second chapter, it focuses on the access to realize the later-advantages, such as the essential prerequisites, the technology strategy and the dynamic mechanism. In the next chapter, the article involves in the two sorts of path dependences, namely technology-sock and institutional transition path dependence. Based on the analysis above, in the last chapter, the article puts up with the strategic choices of government to avoid the trap from path dependences.
