Data Model Study And System Design Of Digital Asset Management In Printing Corporation

With the rapid development of the Information Technology and the other correlated technology, the pre-printing process of the modern printing corporation has been digitalized completely. However, with the expand of the corporation, the data of the pre-printing is becoming huge and complexed. So the scientific management of the data is becoming more and more crucial. Digital Asset Management make the scientific storage management of the digital asset , the recycle of the data , the issuance of the data and the increment of the data become true . And it's the optimal solution for the pre-printing data management.The study analyzed the actuality of the data management in the printing corporation, and the mature technology of Information Management System. A digital asset management system data model was described here and some feasibility experiments were taken out by analyzing the interrelated technology of the digital asset management, such as coding and index , data storage management, digital right management , Web technology, distributed data management technology based on J2EE etc , and the actual requirement of the digital asset management in printing corporation. Later, a system structure for the digital asset management of printing corporation was designed based on the work flow. Finally , a simple demo system was developed for card production based on the demand of the card printing data management.
