This dissertation introduces the application of organizational climate measuring method to the enterprises in China. In the world, there are two templates for organizational climate measuring, British Hay's template and American Gallup's template, which are applying to overseas and domestic large enterprises. However, compared with overseas famous enterprise, lots of domestic enterprises are impercipient to the function of organizational climate. Although some domestic enterprises realize its significance, it's still in the exploring phase due to lacking of the proper measuring method. Based on above background, we develop a new template for organizational climate measuring, which is suitable for domestic enterprises, through modifying the Gallup Q12 template. This dissertation has five parts. In this first part, we show the significance of organizational climate in an enterprise and the application of its measuring method in overseas and domestic enterprises. The fundamental theory of organizational climate and its development processes are introduced in the second part. Then the following two parts focus on the effect of organizational climate on enterprise's performance and its measuring method. The fourth part is core part of this dissertation. Applying the Gallup Q12 template for organizational climate measuring to domestic enterprises, a good many problems arise and there is large deviation between the measuring results and the facts. After thoroughly analyzing, and according to specific complexion of domestic enterprises, we modify and improve this template to develop a new template. The results of applying this new template to many departments show it does suit domestic enterprises.
