The Practical Using Of The EIQ Analysis In A Chain Operation Of Distribution Center And A Case Analysis

Chain operation today is introduced and used widely as a modern form of business operation by many countries in the world. It is also the result that the market economy has developed to a certain degree. It is available for the corporations to achieve the aims of scale economies and intensive management .The distribution center bears a core position and plays an important role. As chain operation is presently on the preliminary stage in China, we lack enough cognition and attention to the functions of the distribution center and also the functions lag behind. These are the rudimentary factors which influence the development of China's chain operation. Owing to it, the dissertation discusses thoroughly the problems which happened in the planning and managing of distribution center of China's chain operation. There are many problems in the distribution center of China's chain operation which is closely related to the complexity of the planning and managing of the distribution center. Because there are many technological factors in the planning and managing of the distribution center, and one of these factors is the quantities and qualities analysis to the basic data which will be mainly discussed in this dissertation.The dissertation is composed of five chapters. In chapter one, it discourses upon the definitions of chain operation and the distribution center, and expatiates why the distribution center bears a core position in the chain operation. In addition, it states that status quo of distribution in China's chain operation is not dissatisfying. Whether the building and planning of the distribution center or the maintenance and operation of it has many things which need to be improved. Furthermore, it is the only topic which the author wants to discuss. In chapter two, it expatiates how to plan the distribution center and mainly discourses upon the influencing factors to the planning of the distribution center and the contents of planning.In chapter three, as the body of this dissertation, it expatiates, EIQ analysis, the basic data analysis to the planning of the distribution center at length. In chapter four, it dissertates the important role that EIQ analysis plays in the planning of the distribution center, and which sums up the application of EIQ analysis to the planning of the distribution center. In chapter five, it is a actual example of applying of EIQ analysis to the planning and managing of the distribution center. The author has a concretely EIQ analysis and draws the relevant conclusions by combining with the orders data of Wuhan KFC's distribution center he collects. The author uses a simple processing means to deal with it and the conclusions drawed by using the means may be quite different from the actual results. As the dissertation lays an emphasis on experimenting the actual processing of EIQ analysis, the author has the possibility to analyze completely the orders data and draw a conclusion which accords with the actual need on the computer by using Excel according to the operating process.Finally, the author offers many suggestions to the building and planning of distribution center for reference.
