Logistics is an ancient and old topic, appeared with the commodity production and distribution. And logistics activities are affected by logistics technique, market scope and management style etc. The scope, function, technique and methods of traditional logistics are simple and original, but the modern logistics is carried out under the modern techniques and broader market scope. The development of modern logistics plays an important role in promoting the economic growth and updating the competitive capacity of industrial and business enterprises. It includes: First: modern logistics forces the effective transfer of commodity, which extends the scope of production and distribution; Second: it largely increases the efficiency of distribution and shortens the commodity distribution period; Third: modern logistics largely decreases logistics cost, and so that it exerts outstanding impact on lowering product cost and elevating economic effects; Fourth: the important features of modern logistics are its socialization and general adoption of the market principle. Under this environmental, the paper discuss some processes about the logistics supplier choice, and some evaluation methods that are used to select appropriate suppliers. On the base of it, an evaluation method is put forward which selects logistics combinations from all sections. Then enterprise logistics supplier evaluation index system is founded to describe suppliers from different aspects. Suppliers of every section are analyzed in the method of AHP (The Analytic Hierarchy Process) to evaluate qualitative index, and using qualitative and quantitative index to select suppliers. Then a programming model is set up to find out logistics supplier combination on the target of total minimization of cost and operational time. At the end of the paper, an example is illustrated to show the whole process. And the result indicates that the process and the method are feasible and effective.
