| At the age of knowledge economy, knowledge workers have become the core object of Enterprise HRM (human resource management), and the key lies in the establishment of incentive system tailored to knowledge workers, to enhance their working enthusiasm, raise their sense of responsibility and professional dedication, explore and develop their creativity and potential, improve the production, transmission, application and value added of knowledge technology.The traditional C&B (compensation and benefit) system has some deficiency when working on knowledge workers whose motivity is dried up day by day. Under this circumstance, the total reward system is gradually emerging. After widely reading of relevant research materials, this dissertation will discuss the contents as follows:1. Defining the content of knowledge workers and analyzing their characteristics;illuminating the meaning and traits of the total reward incentive system;analyzing its components and expatiating its incentive value for knowledge workers.2. Setting up a trinity incentive model in both extrinsic and intrinsic aspects and from three dimensionalities of pay, incentive and benefits;classifying the intrinsic reward according to the result of employeement interview;building the model of the empirical research, bringing forward the research hypothesis, designing and carrying out the investigation.3. According to the statistics analysis of investigation data, getting a further understanding on the inner relationship between the practical incentive degree, anticipant incentive degree and the whole incentive degree to knowledge workers from the total reward. And discussing the effect of personal and enterprise factors that might influence the incentive of knowledge workors.By adopting the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method, this disserratation finds out the deficiency or limits of the present theory research on the basis of former research results, which would serve as an example in terms of theory and empirical research method in the study of knowledge workers' incentive. Pointout the key factors of total reward incentive and its traits, to give a practical instruction to the knowledge workers' incentive in the company. |
