Chapter 1 briefs PengFei product and market trend. Basedon customer requirements, company strategy is defined. Ourproject goal and study map of six-sigma application aredeveloped also.Chapter 2 introduces the history of Six-Sigma management,its basic characters, DMAIC strategy, and key points for itsapplication.Chapter 3 first introduces organization chart of PengFeiSix-Sigma team. Then, through quality cost analysis, it isfound that sealing scrap cost is very critical for us toreduce product cost. So, we decide to solve the problem assoon as possible.With the development of the project, in-deep analysishas been made by using DMAIC and Six-sigma tools (such asFMEA, Hypothesis test and DOE) on the basis of a great dealof data. After taking various actions, it is successful tooptimize sealing process and reduce scrap yield.Chapter 4 simply reports our actual and potentialbenefit.It has been proven that, if only the enterprise reallyinspire all staffs to take actions according to six-sigmabasic principles, integrate it with other management theory,the enterprise will succeed in the world.
