The ability of employee and the motivation what they feel in their work, are thekey factors to the consulting company's development. It is the most important thingfor the consulting company's executives and Human Resource managers grasp theemployee's need characteristics accurately and encourage them effectively.In this dissertation, we first introduce the classical motivation theoriessystematically and introduce the current trend in human resource management in thenew era. Then, taking a certain consulting company as a case, it uses two differenttypes of questionnaires to research, one is attempt to collect the condition how thecompany's encouragement mechanism operated, the other is to collect the personalneeds among the employees. From these questionnaires, we try to find outencouragement mechanism operation condition in a company, and we also intent tomake out the factors that affected the employee's motivation mostly. We analyze thedata that collect from the questionnaires and got the operated conditions ofencouragement mechanism currently in the company and try to find a general law ofthe emplyees' need. Considering with the company management's practicalexperience, we put forward to the executives or Human Resource management somesuggestion, which base on the employee's personal need, on how to improve or set upa new encouragement mechanism in a new consulting company.
