PSCS Platform's Construction And Its Applied Research In Software Companies

Position Series and Class System(PSCS)refers to the system of hierarchical structure management in which all the positions in the entrepreneur are divided into different series according to job characteristics in line with organization strategy and each position is put into classes according with post qualification. PSCS platform includes three parts: PSCS classification criterion, PSCS post qualification criterion and PSCS assessment criterion.The construction of PSCS lays the solid foundation for the software companies to attract, retain, stimulate and develop the human resources that they require. In the meantime, salary system, performance appraisal system, career development of employees and recruiting and training system of the companies are formed as a whole based on the PSCS platform to be concerted and complementary mutually which serves the holistic development strategy of the entrepreneurs.The thesis unifies some concepts in PSCS and redefines the connotation of PSCS and PSCS platform on the basis of integrating some researches on relevant theories of PSCS from home and abroad. It makes the research on PSCS theories and software field adopting the method of combining theoretical research (bibliographic data analysis and handy data analysis) and empirical analysis( questionnaire and interview). The PSCS platform for suiting software companies is thus built up and the empirical research on its application in the software companies are also made through the analysis of characteristics of human resource management in typical software companies.The thesis aims to realize the conversion of the code of human resource management in the software companies through investigating, diagnosing and coordinating strategy, organization, process and position function. At the same time, it hopes that the research on PSCS platform can meet the needs of current management and entrepreneur development so as to find some barriers blocking the existence and development of entrepreneurs and solve the problems. It also hopes that it can be spread and carried out in other entrepreneurs.
