The Study On The Evaluation Of Feasibility Of Exploitation Of The Arable Land Potential Resources

Land suitability evaluation is the appraisal of the suitability and its extent of land for a certain purpose, it is the basis for land-use decision-making and using direction , it is also the main content of the land resources research in the near past 20 years.Potential land suitability evaluation is one part of land resources appraisal, the purpose of it is to appraise the natural and the social-economic factors,such as the way of land-use, which influence the quality of the potential arable land resource, according to the evaluation system of land potential resources, grading the appropriate level of it for farmland into several levels, to open out the suitbility for farmland development, so as to provide basis for adjusting and optimizing the land-use structure and making rational land exploitation layout,it is has a important significance to ensure security of national food.According to the Sustainable Development Theory, the Theory of Human-land Relation and Tract sparsity principle as a guide, on the basis of analysing the characteristics of the types of arable land potential resources in eight secondary indicator districts of Hebei, to take dynamic equilibrium of the total number of arable land and improving the food production capacity as the aim, this paper divided natural module and producing ability module to establish the appraising system of arable land resources. Apply the production of agricultural land classification to appraising system of the Suitbility of Exploitation of arable land resources by analyzing the relation between Agricultural land classification and evaluation of arable land.As the same time,this paper took Hebei province as an example to make a demonstration studies on expoitation suitbility of arable land potential resources.To get the suitable exploitation index of each county's arable land potential resources by reckoning, and then divided it into five grades which present the expoitation suitbable extent of arable land potential resources.Thereinto, the area of first potential arable land is 51800.9 hektare which is distributing in the Plain Region of the Sea Bank and the Tableland Region of Taihang Moutain which take 22.35 percent of the total potential arable land.The area of second class of potential arable land is 68715,1 hektare which is distributing in the Alluvial Plain Region of Haihe Rive and the Tableland Region of Taihang Moutain which take 29.65 percent of the total potential arable land. The area of third class of potential arable land is 37357.7 hektare which is distributing in the Alluvial Plain Region of Haihe River which take 16.12 percent of the total potential arable land. The area of fourth class ofpotential arable land is 56779.1 hektare which is distributing in the Basin Region Among the Mountains Region in the Northwest of Hebei and the Tableland Region of Bashang Region and the Alluvial Plain Region of Haihe River which take 24.50 percent of the total potential arable land. The area of fifth class of potential arable land is 17093.9 hektare which is distributing in the Plain Region in Front of Taihang Mountain the Basin Region Among the Mountains Region in the Northwest of Hebei and the Tableland Region of Bashang Region which take 7.38 percent of the total potential arable land.Finally, the paper also proposed the possible application orientation for the evaluation of land potential resources , mainly for the development of land development and consolidation planning provide the basis for determining the layout of land exploitation and coordination and the reasonable objectives of land development project.
