Power industry is undergoing restructuring throughout our country nowadays. With the development of reformation, the electricity market would change to be the wholesale competition mode. Based on the mode, distribution companies would develop the best bidding strategies in order to maximize their profits. Some researches on bidding strategies are developed for distribution companies in this paper, the main contents are as follows:At first, on the basis of the spot market rules, the stackelberg game model of distribution company with or without local power source is analysed briefly.Secondly, the basic principle of gradient descent Meta-heurist algorithms is introduced firstly, then the implementing procedure and flow chart of the stackelberg model are presented detailed, and the method of consumer's profit coefficient estimation is discussed .Thirdly, Gradient descent Meta-heurist algorithms are applied into the solution of distribution company and consumer game models with incomplete information. At last, numeral results show the efficiency of the proposed approach, and influence of the bidding strategy is analysed and discussed. At last, for distribution company with local power source, Gradient descent Meta-heurist algorithms are applied into the solution of distribution company and consumer and local power source game models with incomplete information. At last, numeral results show the efficiency of the proposed approach and local power source is discussed. In addition, the influence of the bidding strategy is analysed and discussed.
