Study On The Moral Construction Of China's Tourist Practitioners In Transform Period

Tourism is an industry concerning foreign affairs. It is often considered as the "window" trade of a nation or district, and is connected to the image of the nation or district. Therefore practitioners in tourist trade should have not only excellent professional ability, but also the good professional ethics. China's tourist trade has made much progress since 1980s and become an important industry in the economy now. However, in recent years, the tourist practitioners' professional ethics is declining. Moral crisis occurs in the tourist trade. Therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of tourist practitioners' professional ethics now.By exploring the professional ethics of China's tourist practitioners in transform period, and this thesis identify the problems existing in China's tourist trade. It analyzes the causes of these problems and tries to find solutions, so as to raise the tourist practitioners' professional ethics and improve the quality of Chinese tourist industry.This thesis in consisted of four parts:The first part is the introduction. This part generally brings forward the problem and surveys the research in this field in order to prove that the thesis brings forth some new ideas.The second part is the general introduction of tourist practitioners' professional ethics. This part defines some major concepts of this study, and introduces the formation, development, content and characteristics of tourist practitioners' professional ethics.The third part explores the present condition of tourist practitioners' professional ethics in transform period, analyzes the features of the transform period and the causes of the moral crisis in China's tourist trade.The fourth part proposes four strategies for strengthening tourist practitioners' professional ethics construction. The first is external construction. It means to improve the professional ethical training in traveling schools. The second is the self-cultivation. It means that the tourist practitioners should cultivate their moral quality themselves and raise their moral level. The third is to establish motivation mechanism. It means to establish some policies to motivate tourist practitioners. The fourth is the rigid security. It means to establish tourist professional ethics supervisory system, so as to make the professional ethics construction legalized.
