As the most growtive industry in this century, travel agent is playing important role in the economic stage all over the world. Travel agent—the most active and representative industry in tourism, is regarded as a "weather glass", just because it is the key crunode, which connects transportation and hotel in tourism cycle chain. Just it is because the "non-symmetry" that the travel-agent can build it's competitive advantage. However, the best character of information-age is symmetry information, which brings a lot of challenges to our travel agent's competitive advantage, among these challenges, the heaviest is that the travel -agent's competitive advantage is not exit. Every thing has two sides. Information-age not only brings the travel -agent challenges, but also brings chances. The Travel agent should face all challenges and chances directly. In this thesis, the author analyze all effects from information-age to travel -agent, and starts form the value-chain, then bring out the strategies for our travel-agent to build the competitive adgantage.
