A Study Of New-type Industrialization By Xinjiang: Analysis And Solutions

Industrialization is a force at core to economic development and structural change, and therefore is a necessary stage for a country or a region. Facing the challenge of economic globalization and knowledge economy, China has entered WTO and carried out the strategy to develop the western regions. The 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China has proposed the New-type Industrialization so as to extensively construct a well-being society with Chinese characteristics. The 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China and the 10th National People's Congress have decided that China follow the New-type Industrialization road for national economic construction, which requires high science and technology proportion in economic development, high profitability, low resource consumption, low environmental pollution, and full utilization of human resources. The New-type Industrialization doesn't mean to pursue mere output value or achieve short-term development at the cost of the environment.
