A Study On Deng Xiaoping's Common Prosperity Theory And Inheritance And Development In The New Practice

Realizing common prosperity is an ideal of mankind for thousands of years, but it couldn't be realized before the building up of socialism. It is the socialist principle characters and essential objectives. Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought is an important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Through the twenty years practice of the reform and opening-up, overall national strength of our country has been enhanced obviously and living standard of the people has been improved notably. At the same time however, we face a serious social problem, namely the gradually enlargement of the gap between the rich and the poor. If we don't take effective measure to solve it, social stability and development will be critically damaged and even our dream of common prosperity will vanish soon. Based on a correct analysis of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought, and thorough discussion on inheritance and development in the new practice, this paper will be valuable to treat both success and failure on the road of common prosperity properly. In the meanwhile, it aims at unifying people's thought and strengthening the confidence to future. The content of this paper includes five parts:Part one is about the aim of the author, the current studies and trend of this thesis as well as the synopsis and methods of the paper.Part two is about the theoretical origins of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought. Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought is based on the excellent ideological legacy of our Chinese nation. It is a criticism of Utopian socialism thought and a development of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought under the new historical condition in China.Part three is about the scientific connotation of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought. According to the relevant work of Deng Xiaoping, this part discusses the comprehensive connotation of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought in detail from six aspects, which makes it more systematic and significant from theory to practice.Part four is about the time value of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought. In this part the author analyses the current disparity between the poor and the rich, points out the theoretical and present directive significance of Deng Xiaoping's common prosperity thought.Part five is about the progressive exploration on the road of common prosperity. The third generation of the Communist Party leader group led by Jiang Zemin and the new leader group led by Hu Jintao keep summing up new experiences and generalizing new theory in the practice of socialist modernization.
