On Deng Xiaoping 's Thought Of Common Prosperity And Its Realization

The idea of common prosperity is a significant part of Deng Xiaoping Theory,which is important content in the category of Scientific socialism theoretically andpractically. Socialism system firstly make common prosperity as its goal ofdevelopment in human history, which reflects the whole of humanity ’s good wishes,also is a significant progress in human’s social development. After30years of reformand opening, China’s national economy has grown rapidly, which lead to significantincrease of overall national strength, also remarkable improvement of people’s livingstandard. However, social problems caused by poverty gap emerge at the same timethat great achievement has been made, which presents a trend of expansion. At presentthe gap between the rich and the poor caused more and more attention, which hasaroused strong repercussions in the community. This problem is worthy of ourattention. The phenomenon of extensive gap between the rich and the poor hasbecome an important factor that influence social harmony, stability andcomprehensive development. So the issue how to recognize and understand povertygap in China and how to achieve common prosperity is related to socialist belief ofbroad masses of people, which must be guided by Deng Xiaoping’s idea of commonprosperity in theory, strong measures must be taken to prevent polarization.This dissertation consists of six chapters. Chapter1summarizes the research goaland the significance, domestic and foreign status, ideas, framework and main researchcontents and methods.Chapter2elaborated the theoretical origin and practical basis of Deng Xiaoping’sidea of common prosperity in a form of history.Chapter3discusses the main contents of Deng Xiaoping’s thought of commonprosperity, collective its rich connotation from five aspects according relateddiscussion of Deng Xiaoping.Chapter4discusses Deng Xiaoping’s thought of common prosperity in the newera of the theoretical characteristics, from the view of time, people, innovation,comprehensiveness and dynamic state.Chapter5analyzes the current situation of gap between the rich and the poor,which hold that current situation of gap between the rich and the poor is mainlymanifested in expanding income gap between urban and rural residents, residents indifferent areas and labors in different industry. This chapter also analyzes reasons thatgenerate the gap, which consists of the reason of nature and history, policy andinstitutional defects, market economy, the difference between the socialindividual,also the reason of unlawfully-unusually upstart.Chapter6try to find some implementation to achieve Deng Xiaoping’s thoughtof common prosperity as the conclusion of this dissertation. These implementation aremainly about developing productivity, thoroughly applying the scientific outlook ondevelopment, deepening reform of the income distribution system, reinforcement ofthe construction of democracy and legality and moral construction and promotion ofthe fairness of education.Key words: Deng Xiaoping common prosperity poverty gap...
