| Since the restoration of postal savings deposit of 1986, the rapid development of various operations has made it an un-ignorable financial force. The number of postal savings deposit working networks has been over 36,000, of which the county and under-county countryside networks accounts for two thirds, having been the financial institutions with a largest number of domestic networks. Up to the end of December of 2005, the national postal savings deposit balance has reached RMB 1359.9 billion Yuan; the saving market share if 9.64% and the saving scale is ranked behind the ICBC, Agriculture Bank OF CHINA, the China Construction Bank and the Bank of countryside credit cooperative, listed the fifth.
