Effect On Our Export Trade By Social Accountability 8000

Social Accountability 8000 is a set of standard system, which is formulated according to International Labor Organization and World Human Rights Declaration and United Nations Children Rights and Interests Convention, can be used for independent verification and authentication by the third authentication organization. It is a new trade barrier after Green Trade Barrier. Facing to the new challenge, our export companies'advantage of cheaper cost would disappear. As the developed country carry out more and more trade barriers, the social accountability standard gradually became a kind of International trade rules, if our export companies are still indifferent or with a negative attitude, they would be abandoned by the International market absolutely. Under this situation, our rational choices should be preventing in advance and enhancing in our protection, not to be afraid, not to hold back. This paper first introduces the background when SA8000 appeared and its developing process in and out of our country, then on our analysis to the effect on our export trade, the paper gives some feasible suggestions.In our first part, the paper initially introduces the background,content and characteristics of SA8000. SA8000 is the result of the International competition between the developed countries and the developing ones, also for controlling the advantage in cheaper labors of the developing countries.
