The Philosoph Issues On Traditional Knowledge Protection

Traditional knowledge is background knowledge and culture signs which the people depend on living. It is also the key point of world multi-culture and sustainable development. The research on it in philosophy not only plays the important role in subject advantages of philosophy in metaphysics but also complements the legal system of intellectual property. Meanwhile it enhances and deepens the studies of traditional knowledge. Our country is an old civilized country but not strong civilized one. Much traditional knowledge nearly disappears with the entrance of predominant knowledge and decreases of inheritors. It is not the obligatory rules of knowledge development. We have to carry out the effective measures in traditional knowledge protection timely. The existence of traditional knowledge on one hand depend on the stable knowledge structure itself, on the other hand the keeping sprit of the supporters. The modern intellectual property system is to encourage innovation and protect wisdom as its final aim, however, the potential logic against such keeping and insisting. Therefore, it causes the dissimilation of traditional knowledge.To prove the previous inference, first of all my paper will have a contrast analysis of the definition, significance, features and characteristics of traditional knowledge hierarchically. Firstly, the preference of the definition is set about from two fields of traditional knowledge. After criticizing the subjectivism of knowledge theory which is offered by such as Descartes, Loch, my paper offers the view that the traditional knowledge is different from the other scientific knowledge and modern knowledge because it is unclassified itself and objective knowledge.
