This paper discusses the basis method of three-dimensional geological modeling and the application status of three-dimensional geological modeling software in the domestic and foreign, and establishing three-dimensional geological model of a part of ore-body in the first mining district of Heidaigou based the carrier of domestic mining engineering software-3DMine and the data of production supplementary geological exploration report of the first mining district of Heidaigou open-pit coal mine and the actual characteristics of rock and ore, and pointed out the problems in the modeling process. Based on the model of the coal mine, on the5th and the6th complex coal reserves were calculated, the paper of the main work and study achievements are as follows:(1)、Geological modeling: Establish a ground surface model through giving the scatterers elevation and contour Z value. Through the geological survey data analysis, summary and digital processing, designing position table, inclinometer table, lithology table and assay tabled and constructing the geological database modeling. Build the all coal seam models based on geological database. Constructing a solid model of all coal seams and a solid model of rock that it is in the between coal seams and between the coal seams and surface. We can get any desired cross-section figure through the solid model by cutting process. Finally, conducting computer simulations to the final mining realm based on the surface model and the ore-body and rock solid model.(2)、Block-based model reserves computing: Analyze the principle of the establishment of the block model, by setting the regional scope and the size of the block size, and constructing the rock and ore block model of the study area. The all coal seams are given ash, sulfur points, calorific value and other attribute information based on the constraint shows and the method of Inverse Distance. The result of reserves calculating through mining engineering software——3DMine:The5th model of coal seam less than exploration reserves65,800tons and the error is1.21%. The6-1model of coal seam less than exploration reserves69,100tons and the error is1.04%. The6-2model of coal seam more than exploration reserves105,900tons and the error is0.43%. The6-3model of coal seam less than exploration reserves281,500tons and the error is1.62%. The6-4model of coal seam more than exploration reserves308,400tons and the error is0.29%. The6-5model of coal seam more than exploration reserves134,100tons and the error is1.26%. The6-6model of coal seam less than exploration reserves647,700tons and the error is5.99%. Block model total reserves less than the total reserves of exploration515,700tons, to compare the reserves resources in geological report, the error within the range of tolerance is0.28%. So that we can verify that this modeling is accurate and reliable and it is in line with the actual characteristics of the geology.
