As a result, the traffic congestion is becoming a serious problem, In order to improve the capacity and efficiency of the road, currently the research and application of intelligent transport systems is being vigorously developed. Satellite positioning toll collection system is an important research direction in the field of intelligent transportation, In this paper, the main study is the map-matching technology of the satellite positioning toll collection system, map-matching technology is one of the core technologies of the system, By map-matching technology it is critical to identify the toll road and the exact position of the vehicle.In order to achieve the map-matching, it requires the digital map data and GPS positioning data, so the paper first studies the GPS technology, including its positioning principle and its causes of positioning error, and then Completed the GPS data collection and extracted the effective positioning information in positioning data. Traditionally the electronic map data is generally Maplnfo format data which used for navigation and positioning system, but its accuracy is not high enough, so in this paper a innovation method which use the software of Google earth to get the electronic map data and build Digital Vector Map is designed.After having the relatively high-precision digital map, the map matching approach is the key to determine whether the road can be correctly identificatied and vehicles precise positioning. This paper presents an integrated map matching method based on fuzzy logic, which consists of three matching stage, the initial matching stage, tracking matching stage and intersection matching stage. In the initial mathing stage the probabilistic method and fuzzy logic is used to identify the correct road, The distance,direction,difference,speed,GPS horizontal accuracy factor HDOP has been considered in fuzzy logic inference. The designed parameters of the distance difference is added in the intersection matching stage. The simulation results in Matlab environment indicates that the proposed map matching method can identify the road which the vehicle on and the vehicle’s position on that road.so the proposed map matching method can meet the needs of the satellite positioning toll collection system. Finally, under the Linux-MiniGUI environment the map matching method mentioned in this paper has been achieved. |
